Amazon.com Product Description
Whether you're a long-distance runner or snowboarder, keep your training on target with the stylish, rugged Casio G-Shock MTG920DA digital sports watch, which offers a wealth of performance timing features and cutting edge technology. It receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal (once per day at 1 AM) or manually update the G-Shock to the atomic clock. It's also solar-powered--charging in either sunlight or indoor light--so you'll never have to deal with changing the battery.
It has a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 24-hour measuring capacity and elapsed time, split time, and 1st/2nd place time modes. It also offers such timekeeping functions as 12/24-hour formats, year/month/date/day display (with an autocalendar to the year 2039), daylight savings time on/off, and world time for 29 time zones and 30 cities. Make it to your next appointment on time with 4 independent daily alarms (with a snooze function) and an optional hourly time signal. This watch offers water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), suitable for scuba diving. This watch features a durable resin case, comfortable stainless-steel bracelet, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and AfterGlow LED electro luminescent backlight.

GET IT QUICK!!!!
I purchased this watch for my husband- Birthday, he already has 6 different watches- to go with a different outfit. Unfortunately he never had a everyday 'work' watch. SO i got this for him seeing as though it is casio and can take a licking. Well it backfired on me cause he loves this watch more than his Movado and Seiko. And now he wears this everyday. He also loves all the features, especially the the fact that the watch has an energy saver function. If you are in the market for a sturdy watch get that... ps... the metal handle makes a world of difference and makes the watch look like a million bucks!
Great watch, awful band
This is a really great watch for people (like me) who want to know the EXACT time. But the metal link watch band is sized for an elephant. Heeding the advice of another reviewer I took it to a jeweler to be adjusted. He refused saying it could only be done by the manufacturer. I then took it to another. They said "we won't even replace the battery in a Casio". I emailed Casio a week ago asking them for advice. They have not replied. My watch is now keeping precise time in a desk drawer.
UPDATE: I finally decided to try and adjust the band myself. I had to remove 4 links to make it fit and that took me almost an hour. The key to the spot where you access the pins for removing links are small arrows stamped into the inside of some links. You will need some very small tools and a fair amount of patience to do this. I used a tiny screwdriver and a pin removal tool (like a small, blunt nosed awl).
Casio Men's G-Shock Atomic Solar Watch
Everything about this watch is perfect. It is easy to program, the alarm is easily heard, and you can see what time it is WITHOUT glasses! My husband wears this watch daily while performing the duties of a police officer. Needless to say, it gets banged around a lot without showing any adverse effect. The only concern I would have is that the watch is on the large size, and probably would be too big for a smaller man.
